Here's what city councils and other governing bodies plan in coming days:

Mason County

The Board of Commissioners meets at 9 a.m. the first three Tuesdays of the month and at 6 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month in commission chambers, 411 Fifth St. N., Shelton. For more information, call 360-427-9670, ext. 422.

This week’s agenda includes approval of the part-time court commissioner employee agreement between Richard Adamson and Superior Court for 2010 in the annual amount of $72,690.32. The compensation and duties remain the same as in 2009.


This week’s meeting will be broadcast live and rebroadcast at 6 p.m. Thursday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday on Hood Canal Communications’ Local Channel 46 in Mason County.

This week’s agenda includes:

 • Approval of property acquisitions for the Harrison Avenue Corridor Improvements Project.

Thurston County

This week’s agenda includes a move to set a public hearing for 5:30 p.m. Feb. 9 to consider extending an ordinance that places interim regulations on cluster subdivisions.
