Voters in the Oakville School District will be asked Feb. 9 to approve a two-year replacement maintenance and operations levy, according to The Daily World of Aberdeen.
The district has proposed a replacement levy that reduces the overall amount garnered from $356,400 to $306,400. That would change the current $2.57 per $1,000 assessed value of a resident’s property to an estimated $2.22 per $1,000.
A public meeting to discuss the replacement levy will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the school library, at 103 School St. in Oakville.
