Historian Shanna Stevenson will speak about the centennial of women receiving the right to vote in Washington at 7 p.m. March 25 in the Columbia Room of the Legislative Building.
Her one-hour talk will be followed by a one-hour question-and-answer session.
Stevenson is author of “Women’s Votes, Women’s Voices: The Campaign for Equal Rights in Washington,” and serves as coordinator for the Washington Women’s History Consortium.
The talk will be taped for later airing on TVW and posting at www.tvw.org.
