Another Stryker soldier from Joint Base Lewis-McChord has been reported killed in Afghanistan.
Pfc. Jason D. Fingar, 24, of Columbia, Mo., died Saturday in Durai, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when his vehicle struck an improvised bomb, according to a Department of Defense release Monday night.
Fingar was part of the 5th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, which is in the last few months of a yearlong deployment.
Fingar was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment. Lewis-McChord had not issued a release by press time, and no other information was available.
