Group mourns girl who died at ice caves

More than 200 people gathered at an Everett church to remember an 11-year-old girl killed when a chunk of ice broke loose at the Big Four ice caves.

The Daily Herald says Grace Tam was described by mourners Sunday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church as a smart, funny and goodhearted girl.

Grace was killed July 31 while on a hike with her family to the caves about 21 miles east of Everett.
