A man shot by a Seattle police officer at a grocery store has died.
The King County medical examiner’s office told KING-TV that the wounded man died at Harborview Medical Center.
Police spokesman Mark Jamieson says officers went to the store where the man worked Monday night to arrest him for investigation of domestic violence the night before.
When officers arrived at the QFC store in the Wedgwood neighborhood, Jamieson says, the man fought them, then pulled a gun from his waistband. That’s when one of the officers fired.
