Autopsy inconclusive in death after Taser stun

An autopsy on a 27-yearold man who died Tuesday after Pierce County sheriff's deputies stunned him with a Taser was inconclusive as to what led to his death.

Further analysis and tests will be done to determine the cause and manner of King Ramses PJG Hoover’s death, the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office said Wednesday.

Hoover died after two deputies came to an apartment in the 100 block of 170th Street South about 8:30 a.m. after residents said Hoover had broken windows and refused to leave.

The deputies found Hoover hiding behind a couch. Investigators said he refused to come out and resisted the deputies, who stunned him once with a Taser. Moments later, the deputies noticed Hoover wasn’t breathing and called for medical aid. He died at St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood.
