Man with wig robs Sound End bank

Tacoma police were searching Friday for a man in a wig who robbed a South End bank.

The robber entered the U.S. Bank branch at 7020 Pacific Ave. about 10:05 a.m. and handed a teller a note that demanded cash and implied he had a weapon, police said. The robber took cash and walked out of the bank.

He’s described as black, in his 30s, 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. He has black hair, a black mustache and a goatee. He was wearing a black wig, blue jeans, a Seattle Mariners baseball hat and a black zippered hooded sweatshirt with a multi-color design on the right front side and a peace symbol on the left chest.
