The following projects are expected to affect traffic elsewhere in the region this week, according to the state Department of Transportation:
Yelm: Striping and electrical work might create minor delays on state Route 510 in Yelm from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Friday. A ribbon-cutting ceremony set for 10 a.m. Wednesday also will affect traffic.
Nisqually: Tree and brush removal will close left lanes on I-5 between Nisqually and DuPont from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Olympia area: A mobile tree- and brush-removal operation is set for 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday between Lacey and Tumwater.
Olympia: Tree and brush removal will close left lanes in both directions on U.S. Highway 101 between Black Lake Boulevard and I-5 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
