A Grays Harbor County woman was injured Sunday morning after the vehicle she was driving struck debris on U.S. Highway 12, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident occurred at 5 a.m. as the woman, 55, headed east on U.S. 12 about four miles from Oakville. After hitting debris on the road, the 2000 Honda CR-V sport utility vehicle went down an embankment and struck a tree. The woman was the only person in the vehicle and was wearing a seat belt, according to the accident report.
She was transported to Providence Saint Peter Hospital in Olympia, according to the report.
