Volunteers needed to help plant native shrubs, trees near Nisqually

The Nisqually Stream Stewards seek volunteers for a habitat restoration project Nov. 13 from 9 a.m.- noon on the Mashel River in Eatonville.

Participants will be planting native shrubs and trees along the shoreline in Mill Pond Park at Alder Street and Mashell Avenue. Gloves and sturdy footwear are recommended.

Ciscoe Morris also will be on hand for a live broadcast of his “Gardening with Ciscoe” television show on KING 5.
