Spots open on history, disability boards

The Lacey City Council is looking to fill vacancies on the Historical Commission and LEOFF I Disability Board.

The Historical Commission provides leadership in historic preservation and developing information on the historical significance of the Lacey area. Meetings are the first Monday of the month at 6 p.m.

Members serve three-year terms with a two-term limit. Applicants must be residents of Lacey or live within the urban growth boundary.

The LEOFF I Disability Board administers benefits and entitlements for Lacey law enforcement officers and firefighters. Meetings are held, as needed, at noon on the second Thursday of the month. LEOFF members serve two-year terms with no term limits.

Applicants must be residents of the City of Lacey or live within the urban growth boundary.
