6-year-old girl ejected from minivan, killed

A 6-year-old girl was killed Tuesday in a car crash near Aberdeen, and investigators say she did not appear to have been wearing a seatbelt.

Grays Harbor County Undersheriff Rick Scott told KXRO-AM that Kiahna Howard was ejected from the minivan along with her grandmother, who was driving, when it collided with another car Tuesday evening.

Scott said the grandmother suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was in satisfactory condition at a hospital.

No one in the other car was injured.
