Vancouver police say a car traveling the wrong way on a one-way street collided with a two-tank fuel truck. The two people in the car were hurt – one seriously – but no fuel was spilled.
Police said alcohol was a factor in the accident shortly before 6 a.m. Sunday, and the 30-year-old woman driving the car had a suspended license. Officers said she received minor injuries, but her 22-year-old male passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and needed emergency surgery.
Names had not been released. Police said the fuel truck had to be towed away.
