An Intercity Transit bus driver called 911 and used cameras on his bus to help police gather information about an attempted robbery Thursday morning in Lacey.
About 7:30 a.m., a 16-year-old boy was waiting for the bus near Ruddell Road and 54th Avenue when two men began threatening him, Lacey Police Sgt. Scott Eastman said . The bus driver saw what was happening and called 911, said the teen’s mother, Linda Gossett.
The men were arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of attempted robbery, Eastman said. He said the suspects appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants.
The teen was not injured.
