Revamped library to reopen 1 week early in Lacey

The Lacey Timberland Regional Library will reopen a week sooner than expected, though some services won’t be available during the final week of the remodel.

In May, the library closed for a $223,500 face-lift including new carpeting, lighting and interior paint.

Library patrons can access pickups and place holds during construction, but those services won’t be available after 5 p.m. Saturday. They’ll resume when the library opens 10 a.m. July 18.

Book drops will remain open. Library officials said people can place materials on hold and pick them up at another location.
