The Thurston County Fair will run from July 30- Aug. 3, and has opportunities for summer jobs at the fairgrounds.
There are as many as 40 temporary jobs available that include tasks like washing tables, and cleaning facilities and equipment for fair-goers and animals, selling and collecting tickets, assisting with managing fair parking, and helping with office duties like data entry and answering phones.
Temporary fair workers earn wages between $9.32 and $10.50 per hour.
Fair workers must be at least 16 years old, and must submit a Thurston County employment application and disclosure form. Applications must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, July 18.
