Brooke Marshall, who currently is the executive director of the Montana Board of Crime Control, is the new administrator for Thurston County Superior Court.

She is expected to start on Aug. 18. Her hiring was announced Thursday by the Thurston County Superior Court Board of Judges and presiding Judge Carol Murphy.

As administrator, Marshall will manage all court operations and supervise all non-judicial court staff.

Prior to the Montana Board of Crime Control, she was the court operations manager at Lane County Circuit Court in Eugene, Ore., and before that, pretrial services supervisor in the same county.
