Well, check out Thurston County WorkSource on Friday because the organization is set to host a series of workshops for job seekers.
Here’s what’s happening on Friday:
-9 a.m. to 11 a.m.: workshop will focus on new ways to maintain a positive attitude and sharpen job search skills when the job search gets frustrating.

-9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: connect with other job seekers in a positive, supportive environment. This class is set to become a weekly workshop, beginning July 30.
-11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: workshop will focus on what to wear to land the job you want. It also will include a fashion show, highlighting examples of appropriate interview and work attire.
-1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: learn how to disclose your criminal background to potential employers, including effective job-search techniques, interviewing tips and the power of positive thinking.
