Eastside Big Tom, the popular drive-in burger restaurant in Olympia, will donate a percentage of its sales on Friday to Capital City Pride.
Capital City Pride is the organization that hosts the annual Pride Festival and parade in downtown Olympia.
“This is a big day for us” Pride Chairwoman Anna Schlecht said in a statement. “Big Tom’s is a cherished touchstone in Olympia, so having Big Tom’s support is like being invited home for Sunday dinner, except the menu is burgers instead of a roast.”
“Giving back to the community that supports your business just makes sense” said Mike Fritsch, owner of the Eastside Big Tom’s, in a statement. “It’s fun for us, our customers like seeing a local business helping a local nonprofit, and most importantly it’s just good business.”
