A Lacey woman has been charged with animal cruelty in the case of the alleged abuse of a puppy.
The Thurston County Prosecutor’s office filed a criminal charge in the case involving a seven-week-old German shepherd mix named Bella, according to a news release.
Charging documents allege that Natasha Marie Pabon was present while her young children abused the puppy and she failed to stop the abuse. The incident was video recorded by a neighbor and that recording was given to Thurston County Animal Services. The Lacey Police Department conducted the investigation.
