Lacey Fire District 3 rescued two adults from the Nisqually River Monday morning after their raft overturned in the river and left them stranded Sunday night.
The two adults were able to get to an area of beach along the river which kept them out of the water the majority of the time, Lacey Fire Chief Steve Brooks said Monday.
Lacey Fire was notified about the two adults about 6:30 a.m. Monday. The two adults were treated at the scene for minor injuries and released, he said.
