A boil-water advisory for customers of Foxhall Water System was lifted Tuesday after lab tests showed the water was safe to drink.
Washington Water Service Co. announced the results in a news release Tuesday.
The water system serves 206 homes in the Foxhall and Hollywood neighborhoods in the northeastern part of Thurston County.
The state Department of Health worked with the company to issue the advisory as a safety precaution on Saturday. The system had a water outage that could have allowed potentially harmful contaminants to get into water lines. The outage happened when the system lost pressure due to a broken pipe in the system’s pump house that drained the reservoir.

A second outage occurred Monday. That outage was caused by water damage to electrical equipment, which has been repaired.
