Lacey Elementary School was vandalized in July and again in early August, possibly the weekend of Aug. 9, according to Lacey Police.

In the first incident, which was reported to Lacey Police on July 11, a back door window was shattered, Sgt. Terence Brimmer said Wednesday.

Surveillance video later obtained by police appeared to show two teens trying to gain access to the school on the night of July 10, he said.

Lacey Police received a second report of vandalism at the same school on Aug. 11.

This time, 14 duct covers on the roof of the building were removed, possibly between Aug. 8 and Aug. 10, Brimmer said.

He had no information on suspects in that second incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lacey Police at 360-459-4333 or call Olympia/Thurston County CrimeStoppers at 800-222-8477.
