The first overnight lane closures will take place from 10 p.m.-5 a.m. Sunday through Tuesday, according to the state Department of Transportation. Crews will close two left lanes of southbound I-5 for about 1 mile, starting at Milepost 106, near the Port of Olympia exit.
From Wednesday through Friday, crews will make overnight lane closures along northbound I-5 near Capitol Lake. Drivers should also expect a single lane closure on the southbound U.S. Highway 101 ramp to northbound I-5, according to WSDOT. The work is part of the I-5 Tumwater Boulevard to Gravelly Lake Drive paving project.
