A 64-year-old woman who jumped from the roof of her retirement center in Lacey is in stable condition at Providence St. Peter Hospital, a spokeswoman said.
About 5 p.m. Monday, Lacey Police and Lacey Fire District 3 were dispatched to Bonaventure of Lacey in the 4500 block of Intelco Loop S.E. after the woman had jumped from her third-story balcony, according to a Lacey Police report.
“She was mad because her friend would not come visit her and she was denied more pain medication by the facility,” the police officer’s report states.
She jumped off her balcony, landed on the second-story roof, and then jumped off the lowest point of the roof onto the ground.
