A traffic stop Sunday afternoon resulted in the foot pursuit of a burglary suspect that ended at a cemetery.
According to Olympia police Sgt. Dan Smith:
An Olympia police officer made a traffic stop on Phoenix Street, between Pacific Avenue and Fourth Avenue East, about 1 p.m. Sunday.
After pulling the car over, the officer suspected the woman in the car was a burglary suspect wanted by Lacey police.
The woman, thought to be in her 20s, then ran away, but was found hiding under a car at a cemetery on Pacific Avenue.
Olympia police arrested the woman and turned her over to Lacey police.
Lacey police Sgt. Matt Koehler said the woman was wanted for allegedly burglarizing a residence in the Lacey area.
