A 21-year-old Tacoma woman showed up at Providence St. Peter Hospital with two stab wounds to her arm early Sunday morning, following an altercation at a house party in west Olympia, according to Olympia Police.
The Tacoma woman was at the party when she was approached by another woman whom she had met before. The other woman started yelling at her and then grabbed for her purse.
During the ensuing struggle, the suspect allegedly stabbed the woman twice in the arm with an unknown weapon. The Tacoma woman finally pulled her purse free and ran from the party. Her boyfriend later took her to the hospital. After she checked into the emergency room, a Providence official called 911 about 2 a.m. Sunday.
The victim, however, was unwilling to cooperate with police.
