Holiday tours of the Governor’s Mansion in Olympia are planned for Dec. 3, 10, and 17.
The Georgian-style mansion is located on a bluff overlooking Capitol Lake, Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Constructed in 1908, the mansion is the oldest building on the Capitol Campus in Olympia. Holiday decorations for the mansion are paid for through private donations.
Availability is limited and reservations are required, according to the governor’s office.
The following tour times are offered:
Tours last an hour and participants must be at least 18 years old unless accompanied by an adult. Photo ID is required. Cameras, backpacks, umbrellas, strollers, food and beverages are not permitted.
The mansion is accessible to wheelchairs and walkers. However, visitors must walk a 200-yard incline up to the entrance.
No public restrooms are available.
