Thurston County Solid Waste officials are inviting residents to participate in a survey on the “Waste Less Food” campaign.
The 14-question survey is open to all county residents through March 1, and is available at www.WasteLessFood.com.
“As staff plans for their 2015 efforts, your feedback on the topic of wasted food and experience (or lack of) with the campaign will help guide that process,” a Thurston County Solid Waste news release stated. “Whether you know a lot, or a little, or nothing about this initiative, we want to hear from you.”
The Waste Less Food campaign was launched last March, and was designed to share information about the negative aspects of wasting food on the environment, the community and a household budget.
Residents who do not have access to the internet can provide their feedback on the campaign by calling Gabby Byrne at 360-867-2284.
