People can get rid of household clutter and support CrimeStoppers at a shredding and recycle event April 18.
The three-in-one event will be hosted by Olympia/Thurston County CrimeStoppers at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey.
• Area residents can drop off documents to be shredded on site. No businesses allowed.
• Computer and electronic devices can be dropped off for proper recycling. This includes computers, laptops, keyboards, mice, printers, TVs, cell phones and other small electronic devices. Household appliances will not be accepted.
• Donations of new or gently used books, CDs and DVDs will be accepted on behalf of the Friends of the Lacey Timberland Library.
The event will run 8 a.m. to noon at the grand staircase at Saint Martin’s University, 5300 Pacific Ave SE, Lacey. The services are free, but donations to support the mission of CrimeStoppers will be accepted.
