Tumwater residents should receive ballots this week for the April 28 special election on Proposition No. 1, a sales and use tax for city transportation improvements.
Ballots will be mailed April 8 and are also available at the Thurston County Auditor’s Office, 2000 Lakeridge Drive SW, Building 1, Room 118, Olympia.
Any registered voter who has not received a ballot by April 16 should call the auditor’s office at 360-786-5408, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit the office for a replacement ballot.
Five secure ballot drop boxes are located in Tumwater and Olympia. A list of locations is included in the ballot materials and is also available online at ThurstonVotes.org. The boxes will close at 8 p.m. April 28.
