The Skookumchuck Grange is holding a barbecue and auction on Saturday to commemorate its 100th anniversary.
Activities begin at 2 p.m. at the grange at 5345 Skookumchuck Road SE, Tenino. The silent auction will be 3-4:30 p.m., with the live auction to follow.
Dinner will be served 3:30-5 p.m. The menu will include barbecue steak, potatoes, corn on the cob, salads, desserts and soft drinks.
Dinner prices are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and military, and $10 for ages 6-10. Those 5 and younger and those older than 100 eat for free.

Auction proceeds will support the Grange’s work with the Tenino School District, including a scholarship for a Tenino High School senior who actively participates in FFA, and “Words for Thirds,” where dictionaries are presented to each Tenino third-grader.
