A Mason County man suspected of driving under the influence was injured Friday evening in a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 101, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The 43-year-old Lilliwaup man was taken to Mason General Hospital in Shelton for treatment of his injuries.

About 7:40 p.m., the man was driving his pickup truck north on a section of the highway near the Skokomish Indian Reservation. Troopers say he drove off the road to the right, struck an embankment and the vehicle rolled.

The pickup truck came to a stop in a northbound ditch, according to State Patrol.
