Driver arrested after crash on Capitol Campus, WSP says

A driver who crashed into a tree and ran away on the Capitol Campus this morning was arrested on suspicion of hit and run, according to Washington State Patrol.

The crash happened at about 6:40 a.m. near the Washington State Archives building on Washington Street Southeast.

A female passenger in the vehicle that crashed was injured.
