Woman tells police she was abducted on Martin Way

A 21-year-old Thurston County woman told police that she was dragged into a stranger’s car while she was standing at a bus stop in the 3000 block of Martin Way.

Olympia police received a report of the possible abduction at 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to a police report. The woman said a light-colored vehicle pulled over and the driver dragged her into the car and drove east on Martin Way.

The woman said the suspect hit her and tore her clothes before stopping in a parking lot where she was able to escape from the vehicle and run to a nearby business.

The suspect is described by police as a tall white man, in his 30s.  He has brown hair and a receding hair line. He was wearing a dark jacket.
