A 45-year-old Shelton man who barricaded himself in a home in the 100 block of E. Spencer Glen Drive, Shelton, was apprehended Sunday afternoon by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a news release:
At about 11:45 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a report that the man, who had several arrest warrants, was at a residence that was in violation of a court order.
“For over three hours, deputies called on a loud speaker for the suspect to surrender peacefully, but the suspect refused to obey the commands,” the news release stated.

Authorities obtained a search warrant, and the county’s multi-agency SWAT Team entered the home and found the suspect hiding in the home’s attic and crawl space.
The man was evaluated and treated by medics at the scene, and booked in Mason County Jail for investigation of multiple arrest warrants and violation of a court order.
