Police arrested three suspects and recovered guns and narcotics after searching a home on Miller Street in Olympia, according to the Lacey Police Department.
The arrests are the result of a weeks-long investigation after someone broke into a car in a Lacey neighborhood and stole some guns in August, said Cmdr. Jim Mack. Detectives from the Lacey and the Olympia Police Department worked on the case together.
“They learned that the stolen guns might be at a house on Miller,” Mack said. “So they got a warrant to enter and take a look.”
The Thurston County SWAT Team entered at about 10 a.m., clearing the house of all occupants. Detectives were then able to enter and search for the stolen guns, he said. The detectives found two guns, but they haven’t yet been identified as the stolen guns.
