Boy found safe after Amber Alert issued in Skagit County

UPDATE as of 7:40 p.m. The boy was found safe and his father is in custody.

INITIAL POST: Police issued an Amber Alert about 6:30 p.m.Wednesday for a 2-year-old boy last seen with his father at a Walmart in Tullalip.

Authorities believed they were headed to Shoreline, officials with the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office said.

According to deputies, 25-year-old Ryan Hall went to the 12000 block of state Route 20 in Anacortes, broke into a home and took 2-year-old Don Byron Hall.

They were believed to be in a black 2000 Lexus GS400 with plate ARJ7450.

Authorities said Ryan Hall had threatened to harm Don Byron Hall and his mother. There is a protection order against him.

Ryan Hall is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 220 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair and tattoo lettering across the front of his head. He was last seen wearing a dark gray pinstripe suit.

Byron Hall was last seen wearing a blue onesie.
