Woman robbed at knifepoint in downtown Olympia

The Olympia Police Department is searching for a man who robbed a woman at knifepoint Tuesday night in downtown Olympia.

A woman was walking to Lemon Grass, located on the 200 block of Fourth Avenue, at about 8 p.m. when a man approached her, said department spokeswoman Laura Wohl. The man pulled out a small knife and told the woman to give him her money.

The woman gave him $20 and he left. She walked into the restaurant and called the police.

Wohl said the man had a black shirt pulled over his face, and police have no suspects or leads. No one was injured.
