Driver in custody after high-speed chase from Tillicum to Lewis County

A high-speed chase Sunday that started in Tillicum ended when authorities took the driver into custody in Lewis County, according to Lakewood police.

The driver was suspected of domestic violence-related assault in the fourth degree and making felony threats, police spokesman Chris Lawler said.

The suspect headed down Interstate 5, and law enforcement took the person into custody near Exit 88, Lawler said about 5 p.m.

He didn’t know Sunday when the chase started or how it ended.

No one was injured, according to police.
