School hosts career fair next month

The Career and Internship Fair is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 6 at the Pavilion at Saint Martin's University, 5300 Pacific Ave. S.E., Lacey. The fair - co-sponsored by Saint Martin's and The Evergreen State College's Career and Development Center - is intended to help students can get a head start on job searches, summer jobs and internships.

Job-seekers should bring their resumes to share them with potential employers.

Parking is free. Shuttles are planned from the Red Square traffic circle at Evergreen leaving every hour starting at 10:30 a.m., with the last ride to Saint Martin's at 2:30 p.m. and the last return ride from Saint Martin's at 3 p.m. For more information, call 360-867-6193.

Dads can twirl their daughters at dances

Father-daughter dances are scheduled from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. both March 10 and 24 at Capital High School. Tickets are available now at Venture banks. The price is $33 per couple and $12 per additional daughter. The dances are open to ages 3 and older.
