The state Department of Social and Health Services has stopped admissions and revoked the license of Shangri-La Adult Family Home in Lacey, according to a news release.
The privately operated adult family home at 5514 32nd Court S.E. is licensed to April Blevins.
Shangri-La “failed to promote a respectful care environment that enhanced residents’ dignity, residents’ right to make choices about their activities and respected residents’ personal property,” according to the release.
Shangri-La officials can request an administrative hearing within 28 days of notification. Current residents may stay in the home. If a resident chooses to remain, DSHS will continue to monitor the home for resident safety, the release states.
