OLYMPIA: State takes action against health workers

The Washington State Department of Health has taken the following actions against health care providers in South Sound.

Thurston County: In June, the Board of Pharmacy entered into an agreed order with pharmacist Donald K. Pohl in which his credential is suspended for at least five years. Pohl diverted drugs for his own use from a pharmacy where he worked. He already was on probation.

Lewis County: In June, the Board of Pharmacy entered into an agreed order with pharmacy assistant and pharmacy technician Sabra L. Sin in which Sin’s credential is revoked for at least 10 years. She stole controlled substances for personal use while filling prescriptions.

Grays Harbor County: In July, the Registered Counselor Program indefinitely suspended the credential of Phoebe M. Olivera, also known as Phoebe Marie Muro, for failing to comply with terms of an earlier order.
