U.S. Sen. Patty Murray is attending three Labor Day picnics this weekend, including Monday's event at Tumwater Historical Park, the Washington State Labor Council said Friday.
The 11 a.m.-4 p.m. event is sponsored by the Thurston-Lewis-Mason Central Labor Council. Murray, a three-term Democrat and labor’s endorsed candidate, faces a challenge by Republican Dino Rossi.
