Voter pamphlets for the Aug. 18 primary should arrive in Thurston County residents’ mailboxes as soon as Saturday.
The county Auditor’s Office is mailing different versions of the pamphlet only to voters in jurisdictions that have issues or contested races on the primary ballot. The pamphlets are available in document, audio and American Sign Language formats, and nearly half the voters countywide will get the paper version.
Voters getting pamphlets are in Thurston County commissioner district 3, Port of Olympia commissioner district 3, the cities of Olympia, Tumwater and Yelm, and several fire districts. The fire districts include Grand Mound-Rochester, East Olympia, Littlerock, Rainier and Yelm.
