Ballots may be waiting in mailboxes on Saturday

Ballots for the Nov. 3 election are available to voters and should begin appearing in mailboxes Saturday, according to the Thurston County elections office.

Voters who need to pick up ballots directly can get them at the county Auditor’s Office at the County Courthouse, Building 1, 2000 Lakeridge Drive S.W., Olympia. Those who don’t receive a ballot by Thursday are advised to call the elections office at 360-786-5408 or pick up a ballot at the office.

Twenty-four secure ballot drop boxes have been opened throughout the county for voters to drop off ballots. Drop box locations are listed in materials sent with ballots, in the Thurston County Voters’ Pamphlet, and at www.thurstonvotes.org.

Drop boxes close at 8 p.m. on Election Day.
