Voters can expect ballots for the Feb. 9 special election in their mailboxes soon, according to the Thurston County Auditor's office.
Ballots were placed in the mail Thursday, officials said. Registered voters who do not receive ballots by the middle of next week can call Thurston County Auditor, Elections Division at 360-786-5408.
Maintenance and operations levies for the North Thurston, Tumwater, Griffin, Rainier, Tenino, Rochester and Centralia school districts are on the upcoming ballot, as are a construction and technology levy for the Olympia School District and a measure to create a fire district in the Yelm and Rainier area.
Ballots should be postmarked or dropped off at the elections office by Feb. 9.
