Justice Richard B. Sanders announced Monday he is seeking another term on the Washington State Supreme Court.
Sanders was first elected to the court in a special election in 1995 and re-elected to full terms in 1998 and 2004. Before serving on the bench, he was a practicing trial attorney in Bellevue.
His campaign co-chairmen include Dale Foreman, former chairman of the Washington State Republican Party; Wes Uhlman, former Seattle mayor; Lenell Nussbaum, former president of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; and Lem Howell, a former member of the Board of Governors for the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association.
