Authorities in Washington state have identified the 13-year-old boy who drowned after slipping from his flotation device in Wildcat Lake.
The Kitsap County Sheriff’s office said divers Thursday evening recovered the body of Trenton Morris of Poulsbo in the Central Kitsap lake, west of Silverdale.
The office said Trenton had been swimming with family and friends when he told a relative that he felt tired and slipped off the foam flotation device. The boy’s body was found at the bottom of the lake in 20 feet of water.
